24 December 2008, Eight in the morning:
Personnel of Diospi Suyana pack one of our Unimogs.
They piled vegetables, fruit, cakes and presents onto the truck.
Emergency room nurse Michael Mörl was the driver. The destination is a small village situated in a neighboring valley of Curahuasi.
A few minutes after they arrived, kids and adults were standing in long lines.
Anesthetist Tove Hohaus looks after the patients. The people are very happy about the presents.
All are satisfied after four hours – the givers and receivers.
We will probably repeat this next year.
“This trip included a lot of experiences. The people were very happy and thankful about the food and the presents.
They were really happy to see us!” (Simone Klingelhöfer)
