Arrival under difficult conditions
Satellite technician Chris Welch and his son Isaac will be checking Diospi Suyana’s broadcast facilities for three weeks. The journey from Australia was comparatively easy. The section from Cusco to Curahuasi became difficult. Because of the political unrest, the two had to walk many kilometers.
Meanwhile, the Welchs have arrived well in Curahuasi and are already at work. We thank the Australians for their volunteer efforts.
