On Monday, traditional bull fights marked the end of the Curahuasi Festival Week. A vacant piece of land right underneath our construction site was the venue for the event, which, of course, did not please me. But despite the distractions we got some work done.
All tiles have been laid on the third floor and we have moved on to the grouting. On the second floor, the tiling just started. On the first floor the plastering and floor work continues. And, we have put up scaffolding to start plastering the facade.
Two solar panels with 300-liter water tanks were installed on the roof and only need to be connected to the system.

Addendum: We are planning to inaugurate the Children’s House on Monday, April 16, 2012. Having this new space will not only make a huge difference to the Kids’ Clubs but also to our small school. On top of that, the building can house six volunteers from abroad.
