Three weeks ago, the team of the Diospi Suyana Dental Clinic invited children from all Curahuasi schools for a dental hygiene class.
On Monday, the first three classes, including 92 students, arrived. On the agenda: a movie about cavities, teeth brushing instructions including a supervised practice session as well as a dental exam by dentist Dr. Sandra Velasquez. Before going home, all the participants received their very own toothbrush.
We are trying to have all Curahuasi students go through this class at the Diospi Suyana Dental Clinic.
