Valuable support for 12 years
It would be almost impossible to compile a complete list of all of the good deeds that entrepreneur Carlos Vargas has done for Diospi Suyana. He has sponsored more than 25 container transports from Lima to Curahuasi. He has waived several warehouse rental fees in Callao Harbour. Back in 2008 he paid for 3,000 picture books to be printed, which outlined the story of Diospi Suyana. These books caused many readers to start to support our work. Carlos organised and paid for an event in the Hotel Casa Andina, which led to Olaechea, a private legal practise, to successfully plead our cases – free of charge – in more than one instance.
Two family-fathers, both of whom have three children. A Peruvian who understands German and a German-Peruvian who speaks Spanish. Both spent part of their university careers at Harvard University in Boston. But the greatest thing they have in common is their wish to further Diospi Suyana.
Yesterday the missionary doctor brought Carlos up to date and, as he does in every presentation, he always mentions the most important aspect of Diospi Suyana: faith in a God who is real. He is the reason why everything in Curahuasi has come about. With or without contacts, without God’s faithfulness all of Diospi Suyana would never have come into being.
