Crossing mud-tracks to reach one’s goal

Our transmitter in Echarate is going to be activated

On Tuesday after an eight-hour journey our expedition-team reached Echarate.  On Wednesday morning the ascent to the aerial tower took a further three hours.  Since many of the tracks were sodden there was one point where the Toyota-Pickup had to tow the lorry!  This weekend we hope that our fifth aerial tower will start broadcasting across its catchment area of Echarate in which roughly 40,000 people live.

The Toyota-Pickup had to tow the lorry.  And, believe it or not, it worked.
The bridge was washed away by heavy rainfall.  For the time being all cars have to drive through the river to get to the other side
Work starts at the aerial tower site.
