Artificial Intelligence from Holland helps with the Covid-19 diagnosis

An interesting concept by Delft Care and free of charge

John Lentink established the contact to Delft Care, based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The company wants to provide poor countries with their achievements of the latest medical technology.

Their innovative software analyses lung x-rays and assesses the probability and the extent of the lung inflammation with the Coronavirus.  Hospitals who take part in this project load their pictures onto a respective server.  Within 30 seconds one has the result.

Using laboratory tests and CT-scans we will fairly quickly be able to check the accuracy of this method.  If Delft Care’s offer keeps what it promises, it would be a great help for the clinical practice.

Both the diagnosis and the treatment progress can be documented fairly easily.  We look forward with eager anticipation to the future results.
