Armed escort reaches missionary hospital

A long journey reaches its destination safely

At around 10p.m. important equipment for our fight against Covid was started to be unloaded.  Klaus-Peter Werner, head of our workshops, coordinated the night event (above far right).

Three new respirators, donated by the Aumund Foundation, will soon be up and running on our intensive care station.  A large compressor with all necessary parts will increase the filling of the oxygen cylinders six-fold.  By 10:30p.m. the five palettes bearing a market-value of USD0.17mio were stowed away safely in a hall on the hospital compound.

The next Covid-wave is definitely coming and Diospi Suyana wants to be optimally prepared.  We want to save as many lives as possible.

The escort car drives through the hospital’s gates.  Four armed security forces had watched over the transport.
The lorry is making its way laboriously up the hill.
The three new respirators are being unloaded.
A heavy box is being passed out through the side.
Everything can be unpacked in the morning.
