Anesthesiologists In High Demand

When, after two months, we said good-bye to anesthesiologist Dr. Schreyer during our morning service, his successor had already arrived. Dr. Anette Frick will ensure there won’t be any interruptions when it comes to providing anesthesia.

In the past, Anette Frick volunteered numerous times, working abroad on the hospital ship "Mercy Ships". There’s no doubt that the flooring of the missionary hospital in Peru is much more stable than the boards of a ship.

If only we could convince Anette Frick to sign on long-term. If she said yes, we would be happy to reward her with a canoe trip down the Apurímac river. The adventure would not be without its dangers, but Dr. Frick seems quite brave.

Unfortunately, we are still in need of a long-term anesthesiologist and thus, we continue living hand-to-mouth.
