Not a required exercise or a custom. Here at this place the most important decisions are made. The personal options are already maxed out. A scream from the heart, the longing for God. The bible alongside, and head bowed. Your will be done.
I am not depending on myself anymore, rather on a power way above me. The time is now ripe for God to act. In a mysterious way, maybe even supernaturally. When is He going to take action, today, tomorrow, or in 10 years?
The prophet Micah wrote a long time ago: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”.
On your knees, this is not the position than man strives towards. But here we find peace and comfort, forgiveness and hope. /KDJ
