At 10:30am today the first twins were born at the mission hospital. Dr Jens Hassfeld performed the straightforward c-section while Dr Tove Hohaus administered the epidural. The entire staff of the hospital celebrated the safe delivery of the babies along with family.
The baby girl was named : Milca Lyndal (after our Australian Sonographer – Lyndal Maxwell)
The baby boy was named : Raul John Klaus (after our mission doctor – Klaus John)
After the announcement some observers might comment that Dr John shed a tear of joy even though far away in Lima.
