Ada Yalupatin and her journey to the festival

Respect, respect

On Sunday around 6 pm I get into conversation with Ada Yalupatin. The Quechua Indian is 30 years old and is very happy to be part of the festival. It traveled 24 hours from the state of Huancavelica to Apurimac with 5 buses. On the way crossed the Departamentos Junin and Ayacucho. Her sister Lea kept her company.

Over 3000 people attended the last concert evening on Sunday. In the next few weeks we will sift through the many pictures and video clips. Now 12 months remain until the second festival in 2024.
