Investing for the future
Diospi Suyana Hospital is buzzing. Long queues in front of the hospital show that even after 17 years our facility has lost none of its appeal. The Colegio Diospi Suyana looks to the future with optimism after the celebrations of the 10th anniversary. Our media center broadcasts its radio program around the clock via 12 transmitters in the south of Peru. Almost unnoticed, preparations are already underway for the 3rd festival.
Another warehouse is currently being built on the slope behind the hospital. The meeting place on the festival site received its final cement covering last week. The roof construction is now underway. The festival site has been enlarged by the purchase of 1000 m2. We expect 4,000 participants to attend the multi-day youth festival again in April 2025. Reading the global news could make you depressed. But in Diospi Suyana’s five fields of work we are still living in a positive spirit of optimism. /KDJ
