Introducing a company for concrete form work and scaffolding systems to Diospi Suyana was the idea of our construction engineer Udo Klemenz. And, on March 19th, on his way back from several presentations in Austria, Dr. John was passing through Weissenhorn in Southern Germany, the headquarters of the Peri company, the global leader in form work systems.
Frau Wickert, the personal secretary of the CEO, saw the presentation about Diospi Suyana on a small laptop. Afterwards she promised the missionary doctor to introduce Diospi Suyana’s school project in Curahuasi to her boss.
Five months later, on August 16th, the result of this talk arrived on the school construction site: Two trucks with form work elements. The waived monthly rental fees of the elements plus the donation of the materials for the 15-month construction period will amount to over $78,000.
