The pylons are currently being erected
In order that our transmission tower in Sicuani can shortly start broadcasting our radio programme an electricity connection has to be guaranteed. The distance from the first pylon in the valley (on the left) to the aerial tower on the hill (on the right) is roughly 1km. The yellow hats on the above map show where the masts will be set up. The building team is optimistic; we hope that the next few weeks will be thunderstorm-free.
