5 long-serving workers at Diospi Suyana head homewards

We wish them the best possible fresh start

On Saturday the missionary community bade farewell to five very capable members of staff.  Surgical technical assistant, Valentina Sawatzki (on the far left), headed the workers of the operating wing.  Mechatronics engineer Andre Bacher continually repaired broken devices.  His wife, Sandra, worked as an event-manager and organised many of Diospi Suyana‘s events.  Dr Johanna von Abendroth (2nd from the right) assisted during the regular consulting hours and dentist Dr Nikolaus von Abendroth was head of the Dental Clinic for the past few years.

Celebrations of this kind are, as always, bitter-sweet.  Hilarious sketches on the one hand, and a certain melodrama on the other.  We thank our friends for their selfless service.  For their new start back in Germany we wish them and their children protection, courage and God’s richest blessing.
