2 Inches That Will Make A Difference

Kids in the Peruvian Andes love to play soccer, volleyball and basketball. Most of the time they play on gray concrete – unaware that this might cause problems. It won’t be until much later when they realize the damage to their joints.

To prevent PE injuries, we are planning on installing special flooring in the multipurpose room of the Diospi Suyana School. The flooring consists of plywood, foam and linoleum and has been tested in many first world schools.

Unfortunately, this type of flooring is not cheap. Yesterday, Dr John visited a company that produces elastic sports flooring in Southern Germany and introduced them to the Diospi Suyana School project. As of now, it seems as if the company will drop the price considerably. We are hoping that everything will go though. It would make for a great Christmas present.
