As a PR-agent out and about
It surprised no one that an audience of 80 came together last Thursday in the Catholic Church hall in Forst. The local newspaper had mentioned this event several times and the speaker of the evening was no one less than Dr Reinhard Kühn. The veteran has spent nine stints at the Hospital Diospi Suyana during which he performed roughly 2,000 operations. He knows what he is talking about and what pictures he wants to show.
The collection amount gives a good impression as to how well the surgeon was on the audience’s wave length.
In July/August he will be back in Curahuasi for the tenth time. No doubt he could show another PowerPoint presentation immediately upon his return to Europe.
Practical charity is not only interesting for Catholic and Protestant Christians, but really for everyone whose heart is in the right place.
