In Transit

i.e. just a brief visit

230 Peruvians and missionaries piled into the hospital’s dining room.  After supper the first seminar entitled “The pilgrim’s heart” was due to start in the Hospital Church.  As Christians we know that our whole life is a pilgrimage.  We expect God’s blessing in this life and to live in his presence after we die. Wherever we actively live and work for him here on earth we must never lose our heavenly gaze.

On our pilgrimage we gather experiences with God, which shape our character.  We do not want to put down roots nor lose sight of our goal.  This weekend the US-American conference speakers Dr Gary and Frances Green spoke about our inner attitude on this journey.  They spoke in such a way that even the most tired participant had no chance of falling asleep.
