A mile stone for the Diospi Suyana Media Centre
They spent the whole day measuring, calibrating, screwing and turning. The utmost concentration was required and Chris Welch was almost in constant contact with a technician based in Miami. At 6:38p.m. just as dusk was settling over Curahuasi the result was perfect. The signal sent by our Uplink-Antenna reached Intelsat’s satellite orbiting the earth 36,000km away and was received again correctly. On the 28th February 2018 Diospi Suyana made a huge step forward.
