The final contingent packs Container #63

Totally surprised, but rising to the challenge

Yesterday at 1p.m. Container#63 was due to be loaded in Nidderau.  The helpers were informed.  The sun shone, everything was perfect.  But the driver pulled up with the articulated lorry 5 hours too early!  At 8a.m., understandably, no helpers were anywhere to be seen.  75 year-old Helmut Clauss took the initiative and started packing helped by a friend, Helmut’s wife and his grandson Joshua.  When Olaf Böttger arrived on the scene the small reserve unit had already finished the job.

Appreciation and deep respect for these four fearless people from whom even the four musketeers could learn a thing or two.

They got the job done.
